some friends of ours from old union got married a few weeks ago... tim was the officiant. he almost pronounced them husband and wife without the exchange of rings (oops!) but it was a very lovely wedding. they had it at the rathskeller downtown and it was hands down one of the classiest weddings i've ever been to! i'd put it at number two or three and i bet you can guess who gets the number one spot :P we got to sit at a table with tyler & rachel, matt & emily, and brad & megan. we'd never met megan before, but she was awesome and we laughed all night. matt & emily are recently engaged... tyler & rachel were recently married. definitely a celebratory night!

must add a ridiculous story. i went to the bathroom and came out to hear the dj on the tail end of announcing the bar was open. i pouted at my husband and told him i wanted some wine. this is what i hear from him:

"i'm pretty sure it's common mary."

i'm like, "what the heck is common mary?"

tim: "you know, common mary: like free."

i turn to my chiropractor's wife who is also a part of my church family and say: "have you ever heard of common mary?"

laura: "no?"

me: "i asked tim about the wine and he said that it's common mary. i guess it's a new way to say free?"

laura: "I think he said..... complimentary"

afterwards we went out with tyler & rachel to eat wings, have some drinks, & watch the suns lose. we were also able to walk around mass ave at night, which was amazing with the weather that day!
