now reading

FINCA

tim would die if he knew i sat around searching for natalie portman interviews on youtube all night while he was away visiting our friend mitch. i really had better things in mind for this evening... like, say, doing the 4 loads of laundry i have backed up. nothing will compare to yours, julie, so i guess i shouldn't even go there :) i did call my mom and wash the dishes. anywho. i really admire natalie portman. definitely not everything about her... not every role she's played or word said... but i admire a lot of it. i won't even go into why. just know that i blew 45 minutes on it tonight.

i find natalie's comments on pacifism really incredible

i also really want to find out more about this organization and find a way to support it.

dear camera cord,

this is the last straw.

please stop being lost.

dear new years merlot,

i am thankful that husband didn't drink any of you on new years eve
so that i could enjoy your company these past few nights.
you are a cheapie.
but i still love you.

how you like me now?

go see this movie

and after you do,
tell me this song isn't brilliant

hello to my generation's eye of the tiger

dear old union,

yesterday was my last official day with you.
sure, we will be back to visit
but officially, tim & i have to move on up here.
we don't want to...
the idea of finding a new church "home" breaks our heart
because to us, you were the church
that taught us to really love God's church.
through some struggle,
but mostly joy,
highs and lows-
we learned what it means to serve the church.
we learned that people come and go
but God chooses to work, to move, to nuture within
and the church is His vessel to the world.
thank you to people who loved me
when i myself didn't deserve it.
none of us is perfect....
of course, that idea is encompassed by Grace.

Grace is perfect
and i am thankful for all of it.

dear julie,

there is definitely the red mango of all red mango's
15 minutes away from my apartment.

in fact

they have about ten flavors of red mango magic to choose from

and it's self serve,
so you can put as many raspberries on your yogurt as you want
(no stingy 3 berries)

you can also mix two flavors together, which is pretty cool

i tried a new flavor last week...
coconut.
which, let me tell you,
is ridiculous.

off. the. chain.

it makes me miss you very much.
and makes me wish that you would come visit me someday
so that we could continue our red mango love together.
